Edwardian 18ct yellow gold 5 stone diamond ring
This very petite delicate ring has 5 small irregular shaped, early brilliant cut diamonds, total diamond weight approx. 0.20ct.
The diamonds are claw set in a yellow gold setting. The claws have all been professionally rebuilt by a competent jeweller. The sides around the setting are decorated with scroll work to give a beautiful design, typical of the Edwardian period.
The 18ct yellow gold shank is a narrow ‘d’ shape leading to scroll work shoulders. Shank approx 2.0mm width. Inside the shank is hallmarked 1902 Birmingham.
There is wear to the ring, commensurate with age but having checked the setting, the diamonds are all secure. This ring could easily be resized.
