Edwardian platinum and 9ct yellow gold 5 stone diamond flower ring.
This is very pretty delicate ring with 5 small early brilliant cut diamonds, total diamond weight approx. 0.10ct
The diamonds are grain set in a platinum setting around the 4 petals and a central diamond has been set in a rubover setting. The diamonds are set into a flower shape made from platinum. This flower work is a stunning and classical design, typical of the Edwardian period.
The 9ct yellow gold shank is a narrow ‘d’ shape leading to engraved platinum shoulders. Shank approx 2.0mm width. Inside the shank is marked ‘plat & 9ct’
There is very little wear to the ring, having checked the setting, the diamonds are all secure. This ring could easily be resized.
