Industrial Chest of Drawers
Circa early 20th century.
Removed from a factory in Leicester several years ago. The factory was being demolished.
The back right hand corner of the drawers housed a pipe which was fixed to the wall. To accommodate this, a section of the drawer unit was cut out and the 4 drawers on the right were made shorter. The back of the unit has since been sympathetically restored, although the 4 drawers from the corner still remain shorter.
No woodworm or rot. All drawers slide in and out easily without any need to force them. Wear commensurate with age.
The paint has been rubbed and worn over the years. There are shades of blue and teal. Where restoration has taken place, every effort has been taken to use a sympathetic colour scheme.
Extremely heavy, the carcass without the drawers requires 2 people to lift it.
Save 50%. Was £1,250. Now £625.
